Pehel – Give wings to your dreams
Our women’s empowerment program, Pehel, focuses on providing women with the skills they need to earn a living and create a positive impact in their communities. We believe empowering women to earn improves their lives and leads to a brighter future for their families and children.
Our program identifies key skills that are essential for women to earn a dignified living. We offer vocational training in these areas through our own training centres, providing women with the tools they need to succeed.
As a non-profit organization, we empower women and promote gender equality. By supporting our program, you can help us create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
We are opening our 3rd training centre (Beauty) in KR Puram area of Bengaluru supporting an additional 80 women every year to lead their lives with dignity and financial independence.
Impact
Beauty Training Centre
⦁ Beauty Training Centre was started in March 2022 and up till now we have enabled 100+ girls and placed them in different salons and spas with an average salary of Rs 15000/month.
Tailoring Training Centre
⦁ In collaboration with Singer, the tailoring Centre was started in March 2023 which has trained more than 30+ women to either start their own businesses or work with garment factories making them financially independent.
